Information we use

Run Jasper stores account details such as your name, email and phone number; a protected password hash for email accounts; dog profiles and photos; club memberships and posts; meetups, bookings, enquiries, payment proof and refund records; messages and reports; park updates you choose to share; and pilot checklists and feedback. Basic technical records help secure accounts, limit abuse and diagnose errors.

Why we use it

We use this information to run accounts and community features, arrange bookings, let hosts review payment, deliver verification and recovery links, send essential service alerts, handle support and moderation, and improve the pilot. Run Jasper does not sell your personal information. The app does not add advertising trackers.

Who can see what

Club pages, listings, meetup details and club photo posts can be public. Other signed-in members can see the dog information and park plans you explicitly share. Park sharing is optional, uses the park you select rather than continuous GPS tracking, and ends when you check out or the update expires.

Hosts and sellers receive the details needed for their bookings or enquiries, including relevant contact and dog information. Payment proof is restricted to the booking parties and authorized administration. Share only the necessary transaction details and hide unrelated bank information.

Direct messages are available to their participants. They are not end-to-end encrypted. Moderators can review content submitted through a message report. Email alerts link you back to the app and do not include private message text. Pilot participant contact details and feedback are visible to Edmund; individual feedback is not a public post.

Providers and email

The app uses OpenAI Sites and its Cloudflare infrastructure for hosting, database and files, and Resend for transactional email. These providers may process information outside Singapore. If you sign in with ChatGPT, the app receives the identity details supplied for that sign-in. Hosts and sellers handle information you share with them for their own transactions.

Mail is labelled “Run Jasper” and currently sent from runjasper@notifications.coachedmund.com, with replies going to Edmund. Verification, recovery, booking, payment and security notices are service messages. You can turn message notification emails off in Profile. Resend records delivery failures and complaints and applies its delivery protections. Run Jasper records sending attempts and delivery outcomes. Signed delivery events from the shared Resend account are checked against Run Jasper’s email records; unrelated events are discarded.

Cookies and device storage

A secure session cookie keeps email accounts signed in. Browser storage remembers interface preferences, referral or pilot invitations and install reminders. Verification tokens are temporarily kept in the current tab while you sign in and removed after successful confirmation. Signing out clears the app session; clearing browser data removes local preferences.

Retention and your choices

Park updates stop being visible at expiry and are cleared by routine maintenance. Verification and reset links expire after 30 minutes. Routine maintenance removes expired sessions and recovery records, email queue and delivery records after 30 days, and in-app alerts after 90 days. Delivered email bodies are cleared from the queue. Profile, community, message, booking and moderation records remain while needed to provide the service or resolve outstanding matters; they are not automatically erased when you leave a club.

You can edit your profile, change your email through confirmation, remove eligible dog profiles, check out of a park, block messages and adjust message emails in the app. To request access, correction, withdrawal of consent or account deletion, email edmund@edmundtan.com. Edmund will verify the request and explain any information that must be retained and the effect on the service. Never include your password.
